PSC Info Group and HealthCom Partners Agree to Co-Market Patient Billing Solutions

MOUNT PROSPECT, IL - June 23, 2002 - HealthCom Partners, a leading provider of patient billing communications solutions, today announced that PSC Info Group, a leading information management and document firm, will market HealthCom Partners solutions to its healthcare provider clients.

Oaks, PA-based PSC Info Group will market two of Healthcom Partners' patient billing products to its client base, according to Talaga. Those products are Individualized Patient Communications (IPC), the firm's patientfriendly paper billing product; and PatientCompass, the firm's revolutionary online patient billing solution.

"IPC is based on the premise that patients have distinctly different needs and interests," said Talaga. "It is a
customized solution that transforms ordinary patient billing data into patient-friendly, data-driven documents that are highly targeted for each patient and rich in financial and wellness information."

PatientCompass provides patients with online access to their account information with the ability to completely replace the paper statement. It brings daily updates to patient account information (financial information only) and patient billing related resources to patients through the healthcare provider's existing web site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It allows patients to access up to date financial account information, receive email notifications when account status has changed, access a wide variety of healthcare billing information, pay their bill online and communicate with the hospital business office via email.

More than 100 healthcare providers across the country use HealthCom's IPC solution, introduced in 1995. Over twenty are using PatientCompass, which was launched in September 2001, Talaga said.
